In cooperation with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences and Paderborn University are conducting a survey among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The aim is to better understand access to sustainable financing in the context of current regulations - in particular the EU taxonomy and sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD and VSME.
The focus is on
- the practical relevance of sustainable financing requirements,
- the implementation in corporate practice and
- a possible need for reform from the perspective of SMEs.
