Tamara Mariela Moll, Senior Project Manager at the German Sustainability Code (DNK), will explain the opportunities that arise for mandatory and voluntary reporting companies, especially SMEs, and why it is worth dealing with the new requirements at an early stage in an online presentation at the Bergische IHK on May 26 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
Join us and find out how you can use the Code effectively for your reporting and as a strategic tool for your sustainability management. At a time when sustainability is increasingly becoming the focus of stakeholders and regulatory authorities, companies are faced with the challenge of reporting their sustainability performance in a transparent and comprehensible manner. The complexity of the requirements and the constant changes in legislation, such as the CSRD and the EU Omnibus Package, can be overwhelming.
Nevertheless, it is worth taking on this challenge: Sound sustainability reporting strengthens customer trust, improves a company's image and can create long-term competitive advantages. In our online presentation, you will find out how the German Sustainability Code helps companies to meet these requirements. In order to facilitate sustainability reporting and the implementation of the CSRD, the Federal Ministry of Economics has been funding the further development of the Sustainability Code since 2024. Instead of the previous reporting standard, the Code now offers a free, comprehensive range of support that significantly reduces the time and effort required. This includes the new Sustainability Code platform, which enables companies to create their sustainability report digitally and guide them step by step through the reporting process.
