The lunchtime offer “Update Sustainability - Facts, Trends and Tools for Transformation” organized by IHK Siegen in cooperation with ReV Network Siegen on the topic of sustainability will be continued as a series of events in 2025.
The sustainable orientation of the business activities of companies of all sizes is becoming increasingly important: it serves to reduce risks due to climate change, strengthens the position in terms of attracting specialists and managers, opens up new business areas and opens up new sources of financing. Last but not least, in many cases it requires a fundamental change in corporate and management culture. However, it is not easy to find your way through the multitude of terms, regulations and initiatives.
For this reason, the experts from ReV Network Siegen usually take up a topic from the ongoing sustainability debate in a 20-minute presentation on the first Thursday of every month at 1 pm and put it into context. This is followed by an opportunity to discuss and clarify questions on the topic of the day as well as other aspects of sustainability management and sustainable / future-oriented corporate management and organizational development.
Deviating from this rotation in the webinar series, the IHK will offer another free online event on April 29, 2025 from 13:00 to 13:45 on the European VSME standard and the requirements for SMEs. The speaker will be Dr. Elmer Lenzen.
